I will give my word you have come to the right place. Fist of all I would remember you that if you following my tips for a more cool Ubuntu desktop then you must download Advanced Desktop Effects Settings (ccsm) witch contains the compizconfig settings manager to do it simply goto Applications-->Add/Remove... and go to others tab and in show list silect all available applications and select Advanced Desktop Effects Settings (ccsm) and click apply and click apply again to begin download

after the download(it is almost 10Mb) Run compizconfig settings manager by going System-->preferences-->compizconfig settings manager

The compizconfig settings manager have almost every control that you can get for a high end 3d Desktop. For this blog I am only giving a clue that how powerful Ubuntu is.

For now let get start a fast Cool Ubuntu 3D Desktop.

From compizconfig settings manager go under Desktop Section(or click left side Desktop Button) check mark Desktop Cube and Rotate Cube.

















By doing this you will be able to rotate multipel desktops for this create more than one desktop



you can add maximum of 16 desktops to the columns and rows(this means Ubuntu can Handel 256[16x16] Desktop at one time) but if you enable 3D desktop then the rows are not working.

To do the trick just grab Ctrl+Alt+Left Click(drag) or goto the desktop and Click Middle Mouse Button and drag.
